Dr. Nicole Ferguson grew up just outside of Calgary, keeping busy playing a variety of sports including ringette, lacrosse and rugby. Through this involvement she was introduced to chiropractic care and how it can benefit the growing athlete.

She moved to Ontario to attend Queen’s University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, specializing in neuroscience. She then continued on to Toronto to study for 4 more years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program.

Nicole has returned to Alberta and is excited to settle down in Red Deer, where she can continue playing ringette, hiking in the mountains and skiing all winter.

Nicole takes a functional, patient-centered approach to treatment, using a variety of techniques including joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy and exercise prescription. She is a certified acupuncture provider and a gait assessment specialist. Nicole looks forward to helping people move optimally to reach their health and wellness goals!

Stan Debogorski grew up on a small farm in northern Alberta where he was introduced to massage therapy by both his mother and grandmother. After spending sometime working in construction and in the oilfield he decided to enroll at the Alberta Institute of Massage. He graduated in 2018 with honors and has been treating and enjoying helping people ever since. Dr. Riley grew up on a mixed ranch about 45 minutes southeast of Red Deer where he had the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle that included horseback riding, farm work, hunting and baseball. Currently he lives in Red Deer with his wife Morgan, their son Reed and daughter Madilynn. He enjoys being outdoors as much as he can and can be often found doing archery in his spare time when not working on their house.

After leaving high school he spent 3 years at the University of Lethbridge, then transferred to the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut where he played college level ball for a year before being immersed in chiropractic studies. After graduating from chiropractic college, he returned to central Alberta to begin work.

Dr. Matt Pobihushchy studied at University of Western States in Portland, OR and joined the Elite team in the Fall of 2020 as a chiropractic intern. He began practicing as a chiropractor with our team in January 2021.

Matt was born and raised in Red Deer, where he began his post-secondary career at Red Deer College before moving on to the University of Alberta to complete his degree. After taking a hiatus from academia to travel to Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, Matt resumed his pursuit for higher education, enrolling in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the University of Western States where he has been studying for the past 3 years.

Matt’s passion for a career in chiropractic began at a young age, having been involved in competitive hockey and volleyball throughout his childhood and teen years, receiving regular chiropractic treatment along the way to maintain a competitive edge.

Monica graduated in June 2022 from MH Vicars with her 2200 hour massage therapy certificate, and she is currently a member with the NHPC. She is trained in therapeutic, relaxation massage and prenatal massage. She is excited to expand her knowledge base in the future with continued education courses. Monica is passionate about massage and helping clients on their healing journey. When she isn’t working she enjoys going on adventures with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

Jody Taylor was born and raised in a small community in Newfoundland but has been living in Red Deer for the past 14 years. She has 2 children & is a passionate ‘Hockey Mom’. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, paddle boarding (when the weather permits) & just spending time with family & friends.

In May of 2019, she completed a 2-year (2288 hour) Relaxation & Advanced Therapeutic Massage program at Northern Institute of Massage Therapy. She also earned her certification in Lensen Therapy at this time. Jody worked in the Administrative field with Alberta Health Services for 7 years, however, after working within the Rehab unit, was when she realized her passion for Massage Therapy & helping others.

Fay Duffy has been practicing massage therapy in central Alberta for the past 21 years. She received her massage diploma from the Alberta Institute of massage in 2000, then acquired her advanced diploma in 2018, and has continued building her skills through many additional courses over the years. For the past eight years Fay has also been a practical examiner for midterm and final practical exams, of new therapists for the Alberta Institute of massage. Fay has extensive practice and is certified in a variety of modalities, which include: Therapeutic and Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, Trigger point and Arthrokinetic therapies, Myofascial cupping, Infant massage, and Reflexology.

Fay is highly motivated to provide the best possible treatment for her clients to help them reach a higher level of health. Originally from Northern Ontario, Chandra Kastern is a Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience in practice. Her career as a Massage Therapist has allowed her the opportunity to master a number of manual therapy techniques such as: trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy technique, positional release, strain and counterstrain, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization, active and passive stretching and Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique (LAST). In addition to direct, hands on techniques, she is trained in instrument assisted soft tissue release, primarily using a Functional Movement Therapy (Rock) Blade as well as silicon and vacuum cups.

Chandra enjoys treating a variety of physical conditions with a variety of techniques, tailored to each patient’s stage of life, needs and goals. Her aim is to provide individualized, safe and effective treatment by expanding and applying her skills as a manual therapist in working with soft and connective tissues.

Since moving to Alberta, Chandra has filled a multitude of roles within the Massage Therapy profession including serving on the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) Board of Directors as Treasurer and five (5) years as President; Chair of the Canadian Massage Therapist Alliance (CMTA); Secretary of the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools (CCMTS) and Chair of the Transitional Steering Committee (TSC) for Massage Therapy regulation in Alberta.

Given her commitment to advancing the art and science of massage and manual therapy, she spent a number of years teaching and administrating within certificate and diploma programs for Massage Therapists, specializing in ethics, jurisprudence, communications and standards of practice. She continues to contribute to the profession as a Certified Accreditation Advisor and Surveyor with the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA), teaching a variety of continuing education courses for manual therapists and is working towards becoming a registered parliamentarian. Chandra is an active member of the MTAA and a retired registrant of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
